Page to Stage: Tosca
See Teresa Negroponte's beautiful costume designs for this monumental production.
John Bell's production of Tosca brings to life the fashions and extraordinary designs from a terrifying chapter in history: Nazi-occupied Rome.
Costume designer Teresa Negroponte created an eclectic range of costumes for the stage, juxtaposing the glamour of opera singer Floria Tosca's fashions with the harsh fascist uniforms of Scarpia and his henchmen and the opulence of the Catholic church.
See how these designs made their way from the page to the stage.
